never ending holiday...

I still haven't debriefed from our big trip (although I've changed briefs several times...), but a few days ago we went on a day trip with my mother-in-law (AKA "Momo") to Milford Sound. Milford Sound is located in the pristine Fiordland national park (largest national park in NZ; world heritage area; one of the wettest areas in the wordl). The drive, in itself, was amazing. It felt like going back in time. Although pictures never do this sort of thing justice, here are some pictures of Milford Sound.

Hey, cool clouds. Looks like y'all had spectacular weather. It was cold and misty when I went to Mitford...loved it. I really like your new format...the whole page looks great.

Oops. I meant Milford. Mitford is a fictional NC town.

Looks like paradise; lush, green, beautiful. Quite the change from your former home, eh?
Thanks for sharing!

Glad you like the new 'look'. With my current state of transition/uncertainty, seemed appropriate to get a makeover...

It actually was quite sunny at times. Very beautiful day, indeed.

No Jaye, we aren't in Indiana anymore (although who knows what the future holds...). We're definitely trying to take in as much as possible while here!

You just cannot capture in photos, the absolute epic landscape of NZ (although you did quite a nice job). I love NZ and will be going back in September. Lovely. Just lovely.

It is very frustrating, taking rolls and rolls (and rolls) of film, and it all looking kind of the same... Some of the most breath-taking experiences did not translate quite as exciting in picture format...
