Ever since starting my work towards a PhD in 'Leisure Behavior', my favorite free-time activities have been lacking. I still do a lot of fun things with the family, but I miss my craftier side and all of the bloggy fun I used to have with my crochet friends online, so this blog will hopefully document a return to crafty fun! :)

Challenged
These are from a team-building/challenge course that I took a group of students to last week. Believe it or not, we got me over the wall. I'm still a little sore from the whole ordeal...
Wall was about 9 feet. The challenge course was considered "low ropes" activities. Basically we were given a lot of physical problem-solving activities to complete as a team.
I teach college kids in the Therapeutic Recreation program. This was part of an elective course to build activity & leadership skills that they can use when working with other people.

hehe!
Explain more about this Challenge course, please. I "get" the concept of team building, of course. Oh, and how high was that wall?

That's cool. Is this your job or an extracurricular activity?
